How long have you worked for Nuffield Health?
8 years
Tell us about your career progression at Nuffield Health?
Over my time at Nuffield, I have had the chance to work in lots of different locations in London and the Southeast, doing Health Assessments, GP consultations, working at on-site corporate locations and running travel clinics. I have been involved in teaching and training of doctors, patient education programs, audits and in setting up new pathways and services.
Tell us about the team you work in?
I have worked with so many great people at Nuffield, and one of the things I love about my role is the team I work with now. We work as a team of Doctors, Physiologists and Physios – everyone is very supportive and we have a lot of fun! The wider doctor team is also great, with lots of ideas and discussions online, access to support and advice, and loads of CPD events.
Why did you choose to work at Nuffield Health?
I love that I have plenty of time to talk to my patients - to actually help sort out problems and address their concerns. It’s also a great organisation to work for with a supportive environment and lots of benefits.
What’s your favourite thing about working at Nuffield Health?
Feeling like we actually make a difference. We do lots of health promotion, so when people come back having made significant lifestyle improvements, it’s a great feeling. That, and the excellent coffee…!
What are your career highlights?
There are a few memorable clinical encounters that come to mind. Connecting the dots to make a tricky diagnosis/clinical decision is always one of the most rewarding parts of the job.
